Book Review: The Killing Kind by Jane Casey

I’ve been loving Jane Casey’s books lately so it was amazing to be invited on the blog tour for The Killing Kind. And it certainly didn’t disappoint.

Review

Jane Casey did not disappoint. The Killing Kind was an amazing read. Totally gripping, intriguing characters, and a plot line that just keeps unravelling, leaving the reader at the edge of their seat. I just could not figure out how this book was going to end. The author brings you on some journey. So many things happen, but not one feels out of place on the overall story.

The characters are also wonderful in The Killing Kind. Ingrid, unsurprisingly, stood out as a great character. While I didn’t always agree with her choices, I enjoyed her character development. However, the standout character for me was John Webster. I never knew quite how to figure him out, and whether I trusted him or not, and that just added to the tension of this book.

Overall, I can’t fault The Killing Kind. I devoured it in just a few hours. That speaks for itself. Do yourself a favour and pick up a copy today.
