I may be developing a slight addiction to Dr. Martens shoes. How could I not when they are the best quality footwear I have found in my 27-year-long life? They are even harder to resist when they are greatly reduced on the Office website. A relationship with my new beauties was written in the stars.
Last week, I had the pleasure of introducing these tan leather boots to my collection. They are the 8 eyelet lace up boot, with insides lined with white fleece. This fleece, along with the usual sturdy Dr. Martens sole, is what will get me through this winter in Berlin.
As I already have a black patent pair, tan was naturally the next ‘go with everything’ colour to buy. Although I haven’t worn these for a long duration yet, I know from experience that they will be very comfortable. Due to the soft leather and the cosy fleece inside, I think I can skip the ‘breaking in period’ with these and crown them the most comfortable pair of Dr. Martens I own. No doubt I will live in these from October to April, so I will probably buy a protector spray. While I have no doubt the durability will be top notch, I am a bit wary that harsh elements may stain the leather. Although, it is said the more Dr. Martens are worn, the better they look.
These boots are still available online for anyone who has been convinced by this post. Let me know if you are a Dr. Martens fan in the comments below and what your favourite pair are.
