Broken English Food Store in Berlin

This post is really only targeted towards my fellow expats from Ireland and the UK, so I really won’t take it to heart if you click away now. It is for those who want to get a food fix from home but don’t know how to go about it. Joyful Antidotes has the solution.

Broken English is a cute little store selling produce from the homeland. Actually, it is two cute little stores, one in Kreuzberg and the other in Charlottenburg. I have shopped here for the last four years to stock up some treats and was not paid, or even asked, to write this post. I just really like the place.

A wide selection of produce can be found here from the makings of a fry-up, to Linda McCartney goods, to canned food and cereals. Some people are sure to consider the prices on the more expensive side, but considering all the food needs to be imported, I don’t find them extortionate and am happy to shop there from time to time. My last visit was on Saturday and I thought I would share what I bought (rough prices included). Big up to the vegetarian sausage rolls which absolutely made my weekend.
