One of the best things about living in Berlin is how easy it is to travel to other parts of Europe. This is not something I do as often as I would like, but I do try to make the best of things and see as many places as possible.
A few weeks ago my sister came to visit and we decided to take a day trip to Szczecin. To see the sights of course, not for Sephora… It costs just €29 for five people to travel to the city Berlin using the Berlin Brandenburg travel ticket. The only catch is that you have to use the slower, regional trains, but the journey still only takes two hours.
Unfortunately for us, we choose to visit Szczecin on a public holiday and more or less everything was shut. No Sephora, no shopping, no anything. However, the city did have a certain calm about it that made us want to wander around and I managed to get some nice snaps. It is a pretty city and I will certainly return there (when things are open) to see it again.

Great photos – I can’t wait to travel again x
