For ages I have been wanting to write a blog post about my love of Netflix but I never really knew where to start. In fairness, it might not be the most exciting blog post for some, but I do find myself having conversations about Netflix on a weekly basis so why not share my thoughts here. Then, I found ‘The Netflix Tag’ over on Bethan Likes so I am going to give it a go and try to make this post more enjoyable.

What are you favourite series’ to watch on Netflix?
My favourite show on Netflix without a doubt is House of Cards. I absolutely cannot wait for the new series to return in February. I also enjoy watching Orange is the New Black, New Girl, Penny Dreadful and Bates Motel.
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Orange is the New Black.
If you could have any series, old or new put on Netflix, what would it be?
I would love to have Desperate Housewives on Netflix. I used to watch that show religiously but gave up with only a few series to go which I always regret. I would also like Sex and the City and Glee to be online as they always cheer me up.
What is your one peeve about Netflix?
Sometimes, some of the shows/films are hidden. I have found that if you type in an actor or actresses’ name, extra shows/films that they are in show up that are not apparent by just looking at the home page. I would also like a section where new releases and new episode updates are kept. I also don’t like how poor the selection on the German Netflix is in comparison to the other countries.
What are your essentials for a perfect night in with Netflix?
I need my pajamas on and a nice spot on the sofa with a warm blanket and loads of cushions. I also like having a takeaway to munch on.
Recommend one series or film for someone else?
House of Cards without a doubt. Where has Kevin Spacey been all my life?! This show just sucks you in and is completely addictive. Also Love/Hate which is not online yet but is confirmed to be coming soon.
Name a series on Netflix you keep meaning to watch but haven’t yet?
I really want to watch Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl. Perfect girlie shows which I should really get around to watching.
Did you discover anything awesome because of Netflix?
House of Cards! I have mention it a lot, I know, but it is just so amazing. I had never heard of it before having Netflix and finding it was probably the pinnacle of my TV viewing life – no joke.
