I have a quick little recipe for you today which is one of my favorite things to make – guacamole. I could eat this all day every day and feel every bit as satisfied as if I had an entire feast to divulge in. Once you have the ingredients, it can be easily prepared in less than 10 minutes as a side dish, topping or whatever you like!
Begin by cutting open a ripe avocado and scooping its creamy insides into a bowl. You will know if the avocado is ripe if it dents ever so slightly when you press it.
Add some lemon juice, salt and garlic powder to the avocado and mash them together until you get your desired consistency. I will provide no measurements for the ingredients as this really is a recipe which should be adapted to your personal taste.
Chop up some red onion and tomato into small pieces. You can also add some jalapeño peppers for a bit of a kick. Mix the onion, tomato, etc. with the avocado. Voila! You are ready to go!
I made this for lunch today as I wanted something light yet filling. I ate it with some bread and it was delicious!
