What’s new? Well, quite a few things at the moment! I am trying to make some minor changes in life, but even though they are small, they have been hard to achieve. Human nature certainly allows us to become fearful of change. I should cut myself off here before I get too philosophical but these changes are so minor they are laughable.
New foundation!
Admittedly, this one was a bit of a mistake. I have been using Clinique’s Repairwear Foundation in number 3 for about 7 years now. It is perfect for my skin tone, dry skin and redness. It took me so long to find the ideal foundation for me so you can imagine how gutted I was when I opened up a new bottle to find that they had a new formula and colour system. This overwhelming sadness thankfully did not last for too long and resulted in my having a new foundation that doesn’t make me look dead. A full review on the product is coming soon.
New clothes:
I hate all my clothes. We have all had that experience. I looked in my wardrobe one day to find many of the items there were outdated and didn’t reflect me personally anymore. A good excuse to go shopping. The hard part is finding items which reflect my “new style”. It is too easy to buy similar clothing to what I own already, and to buy pieces just because they are on sale. This is why I am not rushing into anything and buying things bit by bit, and only if I really like them. Here is a dress that I bought in H&M at the weekend which I love:
I am also in the process of toning down my glowing peroxide head to a more natural blond shade. At the time of writing this however, my hair was a mess and was definitely not going up in a picture here. Guests you will just have to wait a bit longer to see my progress.
Ha! We have the same foundation! Mine’s more for oily skin though. Great dress! It’s true, it’s hard to not keep buying the same style of clothes even after you’ve decided to change.
Agree with your previous post – books are always better!
Love the foundation! I just did a review of it on a new post. Yup, not buying the same clothes is hard. It has curbed my spending a bit though being so picky. There is always a positive ha.
