I really love the zoo. I mean really love it. I have already been to the one in Berlin four times and I am already itching to go again! Now don’t get me wrong, I know the zoo is not the most ideal place in the world and admittedly every time I go I get a little disillusioned with the place as it is clear to see that the animals don’t belong there. That is stating the obvious yes but the hurt look in some of the animals eyes is gut wrenching. The animals are quite well looked after though which does make things a little better. Anyhow, besides the philosophical the zoo is one of my favorite pastimes and I thought I would share some of my snaps with you!

been reading a few posts about zoos recently! I love going to the zoo, think it’s a great day out and zoos like Chester Zoo do so much to protect endangered species and things like that which I think makes it more acceptable xo
I agree. Naturally with the amount of bad press zoos often get people tend to overlook the good they do for some species. Jersey zoo is another great example.
