The Happiness Project – April Edition (kind of)

I did say that my Happiness Project goals for April would be late but I hadn’t anticipated they would be this late. I see the problem as me not being able to identify with the April chapter. This segment is mostly to do with how Gretchen could better interact with her kids, and a child is a route I do not plan on taking for a number of years yet.

Nevertheless, my own personal project is not lost. While I gave some positive reports from past months, this is an ongoing voyage and recapping what I have learned and ensuring its existence in my life can do no harm to anybody. So that is exactly what I am going to do starting with refreshing my March goals and beginning another Coursera course, what I had previously aimed to do, but had to drop out of due to illness. Wish me luck on my second time around because furthering my education is something I really want to do and something which I believe can direct me towards the paths I desire.

I am also going to add my own goal – to read a lot more. I am a bookworm out-and-out and there is nothing I love doing more than cuddling up with a good book. Lately though I feel that I have been restricting myself and saving those glorious pages solely for my commute to and from work. On Sunday though I spent the entire day reading and rediscovered how much I love doing this activity over anything else in the world. So, I am going to make it my mission to avoid watching mind-numbing films and shows just out of the sake of laziness and instead get lost in the world of literature.

Have you read any good books lately? I am always looking for recommendations!
