Q. What’s your favorite thing about Christmas?
So many! All the spangly lights, the serene feeling, the Christmas dinner, the soaps which are always a disappointment, putting up the Christmas tree, having a dance to Christmas songs – the list goes on!
Q. What’s your favorite makeup look for the festive season?
I don’t have a favourite really but if I had to choose I would go for the smoky look.
Q. Real tree or fake tree?
Real! Even if I haven’t had one for a couple of years now.
Q. Giving presents or receiving presents?
While naturally I do like to receive presents, I get more satisfaction from the look on someone’s face when they are thrilled with what I have given them.
Q. Do you open your presents Christmas morning or evening?
Morning always. I am very particular about when I open presents. The evening is much too far away for me. Myself and my sister wake at 5am every year! At the same time I cannot bring myself to open them on Christmas Eve either.
Q. Handmade Christmas cards or bought?
I actually don’t like cards, no matter what the occasion, so I never give any.
Q. What’s your favourite Christmas film?
Hmm, tough one. I guess it would be a tie between The Grinch and The Nightmare Before Christmas which myself and my sister watch every year without fail.
Q. What’s your favourite Christmas food and drink?
While I could go on for miles here, I will go for spiced beef. A Christmas classic in the Corkery household.
