Hello all!
It has been a while since I have been on here and even as I write these opening words I realise how much I missed jotting down my thoughts.
I had intended this post to be a fashion haul to ease myself back into the swing of things but the WordPress App cruelly refused to save any of the pictures I took. Instead, I will give you a quick overview of what I have been up to and my intentions as we enter the last quarter of 2012.
For the last weeks I haven’t kept myself hidden but was instead enjoying a visit from my parents. We had a great time and enjoyed many laughs which has unfortunately resulted in me gaining a little bit of a pot belly. Being sick last week hasn’t helped this either. So as you can guess one of my main aims from now until I go home for Xmas is to shift the pounds and be comfortable in my clothes again. The arrival of a cold (and premature) winter won’t help me but I am determined to at least make more sensible food choices.
I also want to be comfortable with myself on a whole. Stress levels need to drop, I need to rediscover my own style again, I need to engage my mind in a new challenge (German language take 4)………. The list goes on. Admittedly, much of the agenda is rather selfish but you have to be happy with yourself before you can go on in life.
Although I am complaining already about the cold, I do love winter in Berlin and the next weeks have many delights to offer what with a Halloween party, the Christmas Markets, various nights out and more. Before I know it Aer Lingus will be wishing me a safe flight as I jet back to Ireland. To say this excited me the most is an understatement!
