Welcome!!

Hello to everybody reading my very first blog post!!

As you can see from my ‘About Me’ page, quote: ‘My name is Joy! I am a 23-year-old Irish girl living in Berlin. I am a university graduate who likes politics, fashion and writing, and is currently looking for a job which can incorporate at least one of the aforementioned interests!! This is my blog where I am going to put my thoughts and ramblings, views of the world, and antidotes of my struggle to find a path for myself in life!’

Basically I really like to write and my absolute dream is to have a career in this area so I though what better way to start than create my own blog! I have just finished an internship at the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin where I was part of the News Team and played a part in running and contributing to the Cultural Diplomacy News blog and the ICD Interns Voice. I really enjoyed this but am happy now to have my own creative space!

A more through look at my life will tell you that I moved to Berlin with by boyfriend Robin three months ago to undertake said internship. Now that is completed I am on the job hunt which can be both stressful and exhilarating at times! Stay positive is my mantra at the moment!! I have completed a number of internships and hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Politics and a Master’s Degree in Government which I hope will stand for sometime. Looking forward to learning German as my second language too!!

I have no real aim with this blog at the moment other than to share antidotes about my life and my opinions on the happenings of the big bad world! I want to make this blog as entertaining to read as possible so please any comments, good and bad, will be warmly received.
